FAQ
We're so excited to celebrate with you!
Below you'll find answers to some common questions. If you don't see what you're looking for, don't worry — just reach out at the bottom of the page. We're happy to help!
What is the dress code?
Our dress code is black tie optional. Tuxedos and formal gowns are welcome and encouraged, but not required — a suit and tie or a formal cocktail dress would also be perfectly appropriate! If you'd like to match the aesthetic of the evening, we recommend wearing black — but it's absolutely not mandatory. We want you to feel comfortable and confident!
Do you have a registry?
We are not having a registry. Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for, and we are truly honored to have you celebrate this special day with us.
Can I bring a date?
Please refer to your invitation — if you were given a plus one, it will be indicated there. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out!
Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding!
Where should I stay?
We've listed some guidance on the Travel page. If you have any trouble finding accommodations, please don't hesitate to reach out — we're happy to help!
Is there transportation to and from the venue?
Yes! We will be providing transportation to and from the venue from a central location in Gloucester on the night of the wedding. More details will be shared closer to the date.
What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?
Please let us know when you RSVP! We'll do our best to accommodate you.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors. Our reception will be partially indoors and partially under a beautiful outdoor tent — so you'll get a little bit of both!
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by August 1st. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
What should I do if I can't make it?
We'll miss you! Please RSVP 'no' on the RSVP page so we can plan accordingly.
Will there be an open bar?
Of course! We'll have a full open bar all evening. Cheers!
What's the weather like in Ipswich that time of year?
Early September in Ipswich is usually warm and pleasant, with highs around the mid-70s°F and cooler evenings. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap, especially with outdoor spaces.
Can I take home a centerpiece?
Our centerpieces will be donated after the wedding to a local organization, so we kindly ask that you leave them at the venue. Thank you for helping us spread the love a little further!
